As we approach the holiday season, a time for joy and reflection I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support throughout this year. Hundreds of RCMP officers are here in the city, as a part of the Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (RCMP SPOSU). We are the same unit, the same dedication, the same officers – now with a new name.
Drivers on Highway #1 did all the right things after a pickup truck crossed onto the wrong side of the highway when police tried to pull it over near Hope, BC. Now, police are looking for more witnesses to further the investigation.
Santa's helpers stopped by the Ronald McDonald House at BC Children's Hospital this week to deliver toys and gifts to some very special kids on the nice list!

Annual Keian's Holiday Wish toy drive - a great success

The yearly campaign of giving organized by members of the Surrey Provincial Police Support Unit is held in memory of six-year-old Keian Blundell, an honorary member of the RCMP, who lost his battle with leukemia in 2014. Our police officers and support staff at the RCMP were honored to be part of Keian's Holiday Wish Toy Drive again this year.

IHIT continues to seek witnesses in relation to Langley homicide

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is identifying the victim of a homicide in Langley from September 2023.
Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect after he allegedly posed as a bank employee over the phone to defraud a senior out of $9,000.
On December 19, 2024, Burnaby RCMP released information regarding a pedestrian that was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle and was in the hospital in critical condition.
