On September 15, 2024 Smithers RCMP and Smithers BC Highway Patrol (BCHP) were called to a head on collision on Highway 16 west of Raymond Road, in Smithers, BC.
In a joint effort to enhance road safety, Richmond RCMP, in collaboration with ICBC, the City of Richmond and Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE), recently conducted a comprehensive demonstration to highlight the impact of vehicle size and speed on stopping distances to road users.
